Fall 2020 - Winter 2021

I created "Black Girls in Bloom" in response to the summer of 2020 Black Lives Matter movements as well as ongoing violence against Black women by police, institutions (political, economic, and religious), within their own community and homes. The limited series workshops aimed to serve as a starting point for Black women to seek healing for themselves, which in turn leads to communal healing, and to provide resources for women to seek wellness both in the present and in the future.
